Hi, I’m Yuvraj (Yuvi) Parmar: a student, mentor, and lifelong explorer at heart.
I’ve always been drawn to how things grow, connect, and work, from the rhythm of nature to the mechanics of an engine, to the patience it takes to help someone learn something new.
Whether I’m hiking a trail, fixing something in the garage, or mentoring youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I try to see the world as a series of systems that can be understood, improved, and cared for.
For me, exploration isn’t just about discovering new places; it’s about understanding how everything is connected, and doing my part to make each piece a little stronger.

Gardening & Growth
“Patience creates life.”
Jan 2021 - Planted before a late freeze
July 2025 - Thriving, four years later
I planted this peach tree when it was barely standing, just a fragile stem after the winter freeze.
I didn’t know if it would make it, but I kept showing up anyway, watering it through heat and storms. Years later, it’s grown taller than me, and every time I see it, I’m reminded that growth isn’t instant; it’s quiet and stubborn.
That same patience is what I try to bring when I mentor youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Sometimes progress looks small, but over time, those moments add up, like branches reaching for light, finding strength in places we once doubted.

AvGeek & Engineering
“Curiosity runs on fuel and gears.”
I’ve always been fascinated by how things move, from aircraft engines to everyday machines. Whether it’s exploring the design of a jet turbine or fixing something mechanical in trucks, I love understanding the systems that keep the world in motion. Engineering, to me, is a language of creativity and precision, a way to turn curiosity into innovation.
Collaborating with professionals from Boeing and NASA has further deepened my appreciation for how engineering and research intersect to solve real-world challenges.

Fishing & Stillness
“Patience meets peace by the water.”
Fishing has always been my reset button, where stillness can be just as rewarding as action. Whether it’s an early morning by the lake or a quiet afternoon after a long week, it teaches me focus and patience. Every cast feels like a conversation with nature, one that reminds me to slow down and listen.

Art & Expression

Art has always been my outlet for reflection and creativity, blending curiosity, emotion, and detail. Most of these pieces are from earlier in my portfolio, but it’s a work in progress. I’ll be adding new ones soon after college application season.
